Comimos un pulpo ,calamares y pan al ajo con un vino verde. Todo espectacular. Cada parte de cada platillo hecha con mucho sabor y cariño. Hemos estado en Portugal unos días y hemos comido muy bien pero aquí se nota el amor por las cosas bien hechas.La atención muy buena ,fue rápido el servicio y muy bueno ,los precios muy bien también . ~ Cinthya F

This is a beautiful little restaurant which has an entrance to both sides, the front entrance facing the marina. We've eaten here 3 times so far, twice for breakfast and once for dinner, and each time the food was amazing, we were also allowed to bring our little dog inside the restaurant to a small designated area beside the window facing the back street, which was a nice cosy area to sit. The owners / staff were amazing and very pleasant to speak to and spoke excellent English. There was lots of choice on the menu and the prices were very reasonable, most of the meals were served with a lovely fresh side salad which was delicious. We couldn't fault this place and I also have to mention that the toilets were spotlessly clean. Highly recommend this place and we'll be back many times in the future. ~ Martin F

Our first night in Portugal was made even better by visiting Viva for some delicious Portuguese food. The restaurant is right across from the Marina, offering a lovely view of the boats and waterfront. Inside, it’s cozy, well-decorated, and has a great atmosphere. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, speaking perfect English and even helping us with our Portuguese. He took the time to explain the dishes and share some interesting information about Lagos. The food was fresh, tasty, and generously portioned at a reasonable price. We had the Francesinha and Bacalhau à Brás, and loved them! We were too full for dessert, but they looked great! We highly recommend Viva and will definitely be back before we leave. ~ M P

Unfassbar guter Service !! Chef Vasile ist Vollblutgastronom und ein legendärer Gastgeber. Die Speisen sind alle frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet, geschmacklich ganz weit vorne. Und für die letzten Ungläubigen, steht der immer gut gefüllte Kühlschrank mit Kaltgetränken aller Colour, als letztes Argument allzeit bereit. ~ Jolly R

Comida muy buena, bastante variedad de platos y a muy buenos precios, nosotros repetimos varias veces en las mismas vacaciones. Es un local decorado con gusto y muy limpio. La cocina es abierta y se puede ver lo que se cocina. Los camareros son muy amables y atentos. Volveríamos mil veces y lo recomiendo 100% ~ Alexandra V

Totalmente recomendable, porque el precio está dentro de lo normal y la comida está bastante buena… Eso sí, si queréis ahorrar, pasad directamente a los platos principales, ya que los entrantes son bastante caros para lo que realmente aportan… Por ejemplo, pedimos unos aros de cebolla, y eran industriales, y cobraban alrededor de cuatro euros… Pero por lo demás, el local está bastante bien y la atención del personal fue muy buena… Os lo recomiendo ~ Hermi R

I visited a restaurant recently, and it was a delightful experience. I ordered octopus with potatoes, while my mother chose fried calamari with French fries. Everything was delicious. It was my first time trying octopus, and I always had a fear that it would be rubbery, but it was perfect—melting in my mouth. The calamari were also tasty and excellently prepared. In addition, we ordered sangria with verde wine, and I must say it was the best sangria I have ever had. It had a perfectly balanced taste, refreshing and pleasantly fruity. I highly recommend trying their sangria; it's incredibly flavorful. The waiter who served us was very friendly and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience at the restaurant. I would gladly return there to try more dishes. I'm thrilled to have discovered this place where I can enjoy well-prepared meals in a pleasant atmosphere. ~ Joanna F

Somos uma família de 4, almocamos num dia de semana. Comemos prato do dia - sopa+vitela estufada, filetes de sardinha, bitoque e francesinha. Atendimento simpático e relativamente rápido. Comida muito saborosa, caseira e bem confeccionada. Doses generosas. Recomendo. ~ Sara A

Singurul loc in care am mâncat de mai multe ori in Lagos. De cum intri ești întâmpinat de chelneri foarte amabili și primitori. Meniul este diversificat și găsești foarte multe mâncăruri, de la Mic Dejun pana la Supe și hamburgeri. Mâncarea este delicioasa, porțile sunt foarte mari și simți prospețimea preparatelor, in special la cele din peste. Locul este foarte curat și frumos amenajat. Recomand cu încredere pentru gustul și calitatea produselor. ~ Andreea

We stopped here after out language lesson for a breakfast ,which is a traditional English breakfast really enjoyed it for me I had 2 of everything,plus coffee and a 2 orange juices same for my wife ,only came to about €20 euros ,it’s one of cheapest we have found most English breakfasts cost €30 + staff were friendly and the plus is they have brown sauce not many have brown sauce with a breakfast ,it starts at €6.95 I recommend trying it they also do lunch and dinner but we have not tried those yet PS I’ve had a breakfast now for the past 6/7 weeks and not been disappointed ~ ian m

Las raciones son abundantes, la comida está bastante buena, el precio es... Adecuado, tienen cerveza Mahou de barril cosa que me sorprendió. La frachichiña, me decepcionó un poco... Pero quizá venía con las espectativas muy altas, estaba rica pero le faltaba potencia a la salsa. ~ Jose M

We had a wonderful experience at Viva Bar & Cozinha. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a stylish yet relaxed vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The menu has a great variety, so there’s something for everyone. The service was equally impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring without being intrusive. Overall, a fantastic place that we would highly recommend. Popped in for the breakfast and it is amazing. Freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious. The gentleman who served us is an absolute star, with such a dry sense of humour he is hilarious. The main menu has a large variety of tasty dishes on it too. I would highly recommend visiting here and we will definitely be back there again. And as if by magic we are back here again for an evening meal. The steak was perfectly cooked as requested with fries and a freshly made salad and the chicken with cream and mushroom was very tasty. Now onto the cheesecake..... Just amazing. ~ Phil P

A lovely restaurant/bar where the owners make you feel extremely welcome. Food is very good quality and value. We ate an English breakfast on 6 of the 10 days of our stay and it was excellent. They offer a good range of meals throughout the day and evening and again are very good. I must mention Inna as she was wonderful. She always greeted us with the biggest smile and remembered what we ordered, especially at breakfast. We will be back in Lagos in April 2027 and Viva Bar will be our first stop. ~ Tony R

Bon rapport qualité prix. Les repas sont très copieux et délicieux. Il y a un bon choix de plats variés et du poisson. Le personnel du restaurant est très sympathique et serviable. Une bonne adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter, à deux pas de la marina. ~ Cedric M

Hemos comido genial, el servicio encantador, la comida buenísima y fresca, los niños comieron menú infantil, y nosotros pulpo, sardinas y tomate aliñado, todo muy bueno y salimos a 10€ por persona con cerveza y cafe, volveremos ~ Sergio T

Excelente bar local y familiar con buenos precios. La mejor francesinha y el salmón incipido y quemado, ese no pedirlo. También tiene de todo, de chocolate caliente, a smoothies, desayunos, meriendas, onces, almuerzos y cenas o comidas. ~ Maria P

Una rivelazione! Abbiamo preso una bistecca di tonno, deliziosa a dir poco, e un "bachalau a bras", un piatto tipico della tradizione portoghese, di cui la cameriera ci ha prontamente descritto ingredienti e preparazione: beh, SPECIALE! Ottima cucina, ingredienti freschi, insomma, se siete a Lagos mangiate qui! Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile, e attento al cliente. Le porzioni erano abbondanti e con una sola portata siamo uscite sazie dal ristorante. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. ~ Roberta F
